Summer Events

Introduction

Hello, my little fledglings! I decided to start annual summer events with different themes every year! A Summer Reading event with this year's theme being Reading Rainbow! I truly am excited to also add a creative spin for those who struggle with reading! The ability to instead use any sandbox or Dress-up game (i.e. MyVMK, Dreamlight Valley, Minecraft, Roblox, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Toontown Corporate Clash, etc.) to build rooms, dress up for any of the themes it has to be eligible. I also am hosting a Lilo & Stitch month with this year's theme being a nod to Experiment 625 (aka Rueben) as we make sandwiches whilst we watch the movies and show! As the directions say in it, you can just make your own sandwich, none of the sandwiches below are required! Future events may have a creative spin, according to the year!

      Game-Of-The-Week: Minecraft

      Top Edition: Bedrock!

I know it's cool to think Java is the best but I prefer the accessibility of Bedrock. Here are the top 3 reasons I rate this at the top:

3.) Aesthetics: I love it when it snows all the leaves turn white along with baby squids and dolphins etc

2.) Mechanics: I prefer the crouching method for the shield as Java tends to bother me when I am interacting with things, the ability to bonemeal 1 block high flowers planting same flowers beside it, armor stands have arms by default

1.)  Book opens on both sides

Top 3 Minecraft Builds I am Proud of

      3.) Spawn Tower - a private family-only realm

This world, created within my private family realm for my siblings and myself, with many add-ons I built a tower with lava and water to use as a frame and then built around it, using World Builder add-on. I am very proud of it because I began understanding the technical side of that addon and it was such great fun to build! If you wanna see it for yourself too bad it's a realm only for my siblings ;)

2.) Mooshfield Village - Growing Yun Gaming

One of my favourite worlds in my realm, and the spawning village. With my new favorite thing in the world... Add-ons! This world is home to many add-ons listed here (WIP). With areas where you can donate xp to use the crafting marketplaza, a campground on the outskirts, farms, etc. Underneath Mooshfield is a safe cave city themed after lush caves and geodes! I am mainly proud of this because it was my first world with add-ons that I made and before the Money Add-on was added, I made my own economy and did it well! If you want to see it in person, join us in my realm!

      1.) Agape Greenhouse - Gospelcraft.com

Gospelcraft is an amazing Christian Minecraft server, which implements biblical content into Minecraft. With custom mobs, boss battles, MCMMO, Towny, jobs, garden of Eden spawn, and the upcoming Enoch spawn. What with the jobs and leveling up system, I  wanted a place set up for gospelcrafters to level up their Herbalism in MCMMO and their Farmer in jobs. Thus, I began building this farm. Starting with two chunks, I built the building on top of the water and continued to expand it, which made it a hot spot for the custom op mob; Philstines. I am proudest of this because I built it all in survival and warded off the Philestines that also spawned there! If you want to see it in person, join Gospelcraft.com on either java or bedrock.

      Top 5 Unexpected Minecraft Products

      5.) Minecraft Advent Calendar

Alright it may not be completely unexpected as it is quite normal there to be advent calendars themed after popular things, still pretty cool

      4.) Rechargeable Minecraft Style Torch

This shouldnt have been unexpected as I have seen "diamond" swords but man it looks amazing and just the way it does in the game, made me question what was real!

3.) Pringles Spicy TNT and Suspicious Stew

Although it may sound weird I actually wouldn't mind trying it sometime and coming back with a rating but at the moment, my rating is 10/10 intrigued.

      2.) Minecraft LEGO

Due to not having a chance to use them on my own, I will find 3 top models I feel belong here

3.) Starting with The Cherry Blossom Garden, a beautifully bright model with a baby and grown sniffer. The tiny bees are a nice touch to the beautiful grove I give it a 7/10

2.) Then we have the classic mushroom house with a milk bucket, mooshroom, dark oak, and a ladder leading up into safety, above the farm, skeleton and spider 8/10

1.) The top goes to the crafting table with menu buttons, village pieces and even a sky inside! 11/10

      1.) Diamond Scrub Soap/Deodorant

I haven't tried the deodorant quite yet but the soap smells like cederwood and ocean waves to me. Made by Dr. Squatch, a men's natural soap brand, it boasts of being made with sustainably saponified palm, coconut, and olive oils along with shea butter, mica, and kaolin clay. It, as the name implies, is infused with diamond powder.

      Top 10 Minecraft Community Ideas

9.) Playing games like Minecraft such as Don't Starve Together, Dreamlight Valley, Stardew Valley, Terraria, etc.

8.) Writing contests to fill libraries in the world

7.) Challenges/contest to opt into a drink to survive plugin

6.) Like Fallout & Jurassic World? Make your own nuclear apocalypse on a minecraft world! (best add-ons: Security+++, MUTANT MOBS, Insane Disasters, Paleocraft, More TNT, Poisonous Potato, Survival Mechs, Backpacks, Mob Armor, Techna, Computers, Money)

      5.) Minecraft Dungeons/Minecraft Legends groups

      4.) Smelting Pomodoro

3.) Bday party and self-care milestone party area

2.)  Breaktime death messages to healthily play Minecraft, Selfcare reward system.

1.) Find a trials chamber to refresh the vault monthly and for every holiday season, change the mobs that spawn up along with adding floors (much better along with add-on editions) Also use paint add-on to make seasons

      Toontown Corporate Clash Gamified

Hello, Toons and Believefurs! In this gamified version of Toontown Corporate Clash,  we will aim to practice self-care during and after gameplay! Each item we fight with will encourage us in different areas of said self-care.

      Gags

Toon-up: Take a moment to ensure your fellow mates are doing well. Make sure that they are taking care of their selves physically and mentally.  (even if not through this gamified way of playing Toontown Corporate Clash.)

Trap: When this is used, you must remember to make a quick journal entry about your plans, desires, or dreams after logging off the game, count how many battles you used trap rather than how many traps you used. When you have done this, you have avoided the trap of procrastination and/or loss of identity,

Lure: Before entering a battle, pick between these mindfulness exercises to use whilst battling; rainbow grounding technique, senses grounding technique, or a deep breathing grounding technique. anytime you use a lure gag, take one step in it. For example, when doing a technique name something you sense in the real world of one of the colors (for rainbow(sight only): red, orange, yellow, green, blue indigo, violet/for senses name one thing you see, hear, smell, and taste/ for breathing take one slow, deep breath) then get back to the next one the next lure gag you used (this also carries onto the next battle if you do not finish during first battle)

Squirt: Before joining a cog battle, bring a large bottle or glass of water (not tea, soda, or juice) so that any time you use this gag-type you must take a sip from it.

Throw: Anytime you use this gag-type use this as a reminder to ask yourself if you have eaten a healthy meal (not a snack, junk food, or candy). If yes, then good job! Remember to keep it up, if not, the next few throws may be used as a reminder to eat an actual meal after this battle.

Zap: When using this gag-type, first, during the battle check your posture, and make sure you aren't slouching. Then after the battle, you must take a stretch break. If only used once, for every level of this gag add 5 seconds to the break. (For reference, level 1 would be a 5-second stretch. Lvl 8 would be a 40sec) But if used more than once, 5 seconds per zap gag is used.

Sound: Before the battle, take a moment to load up a music playlist or shuffled music, whenever you use a sound gag, you must either skip the song or take a moment to sing with the song you are listening to, or shuffle it.

Drop: Whenever using this gag,  make a mental note of how many times you used it in this battle. After the battle is finished whatever number you finished off with, you must go to a safe place and take a moment to take that many slow, deep breaths. (ie you used 5 drops then you take 5 slow deep breaths, if you use only one drop, then the level of that drop shall be the number of deep breaths.

      IOUs

This is for multiplayer gamification only. All toons must be aware they are participating if you include these.

IOUs are to be used as prompts and challenges for you and other toons to do later. Read that card carefully, if it works with 3 gags, this means do the challenge tomorrow, if it works on 2 gags, this means to do it after you log off, if it works on 1, it means to do it after the battle.

Rain (ALL GAGS): Wild Card  pick a random challenge, or make up your own.

Madame Chuckle (Toon-up 3): Tomorrow, socialize with someone you feel safe with

Daffy Don (Toon-up 2): After you log off, check on a close friend, and see how they are doing

Flippy (Toon-up 1): After the battle, check in on the toon to your right

Will (Trap 3): Tomorrow, journal some and ask yourself, "what do I want to do with my life?"

Penny (Trap 2): After you log off, read a book, comic, listen to podcast, audiobook to unwind

Clara (Trap 1): After the battle, write down 3 things you like about yourself

Stinky Ned (Lure 3): Tomorrow, be aware of any sensations and emotions you have, naming each one

Nancy Gas (Lure 2): After you log off, sit still and count your breaths

Lil Oldman (Lure 1): After the battle, name one thing you see that is your favourite colour.

Cleff (Throw 3): Tomorrow, eat at least two meals

Cindy Sprinkles (Throw 2): After you log off, plan a meal for tomorrow

Pierre (Throw 1): After the battle, eat at least 5 bites of food if you haven't eaten today

Sid Squid (Squirt 3): Tomorrow drink at least 5 glasses of water

Sanjay Splash (Squirt 2): After you log off drink some water before bed and take any meds if needed

Sharky Jones (Squirt 1): After the battle, fill a glass or bottle with water for the next battle

Dentist Daniel (Zap 3): Tomorrow try some morning stretches or exercise

Electra Eel (Zap 2): After you log off do some couch or bed exercise

Nat (Zap 1): Big stretch after this battle

Barbara Seville (Sound 3): Tomorrow, make a playlist on a music streaming platform with the prompt "Toontown vibes"

Sid Sonata (Sound 2): After you log off go onto a radio of similar music to your tastes to find a new artist or song

Moe Zart (Sound 1): After the battle ask someone to suggest an artist

Clumsy Ned (Drop 3): Tomorrow, take a break from screens

Franz Neckvein (Drop 2): After you log off, turn off electronics an hour before bed and do something to unwind

Barnacle Bessie (Drop 1): Take a 5 min break after this battle

      C&D/Fire

When C&D/Fire is used you deserve a special treat! After a battle, you may reward yourself with a snack, sweet, spa day, or in-game content (can be on any game) or you can write down how many of these you use to save up points for something better.

      Prestiges

Prestiges are redeemed once per gameplay as opposed to once per use or battle. (Pick one to two prestige prompts it doesn't have to be the same one that is prestiged)

Toon-Up: Use this as a reminder prompt to do some healing. This can be using hobbies for emotional healing, skin care for physical, or anything that helps soothe you.

Trap: Do something to avoid falling into the trap of procrastination. Anything you wrote down for future plans, desires, or dreams; actively do one of the things that you can do today that will make you one step closer to making it a reality

Lure: Do anything that helps remind you that you are alive. Take a walk, try a new hobby, dance in the rain, play with legos... just anything that reconnects you with reality.

      Throw: Have some comfort food.

      Squirt: Have a comfort drink.

Zap: Take a moment to work out, when unwinding after gameplay, it can be any physical workout you want to do.

Sound: Make a playlist on any music streaming service after spinning a wheel of theme prompts. You can do random ones, or customize what themes you wish to spin on.

Drop: Take a break for any extended length of time from screens. From at least one day to a whole week, that is your decision.
